EEEK!
Okay, I’m SO excited that I finally have this coffee table! Ya’ll don’t know how long I’ve researched and shopped around for the perfect one for our living room. I love my former pallet on wheels, don’t get me wrong. You know the one. Super farmhouse chic, but it took up a ton of space because of how the metal wheels stuck out. I was ready for a more mod vibe too; especially, with our new vibrant rug (Linking one similar here from Amazon!).
When I first saw this gold and glass gem from Wayfair several years ago I wanted it, but was afraid of it possibly not fitting in with our furniture. I don’t know why I thought that because this style can be blended in with so many different pieces. I guess I was more afraid of the fact that it’s made of glass and I have a toddler (soon to be two). The bottom level is mirrored and adds more dimension and light to the space. The top level is glass and gives an open airy feeling; exactly what this space needed being that we have a smaller living room area.
Being that I”m the only female in the house that technically makes me the Queen, aka, sole style decision maker SO I took ownership of all the interior design work. Even though I’ll be cleaning off tiny fingerprints from this beauty for who knows how long- at least it will look pretty!
What makes this post even more exciting is the fact that it’s Christmas time and we are decorating our house for the Holidays! What better way to break in a new coffee table than decking it out in Christmas Spirit! It got me thinking about how much I love creating different looks with my home decor, so I thought I’d share how to style your coffee table for the holidays!
I love a few coffee table books! They add height for placing objects and also look great year round. Another staple is to always have a vase full of pretty florals. This year I’m having a rose gold/blush tone themed living room, so I decided to go with some blush roses. I also found the CUTEST bottle brush Christmas trees that are giving me life! I found some two years ago, but they only really started becoming popular this season.
Having a cute decanter or dainty container is always a great coffee piece as well. I chose a pretty little mercury glass one to fill with Christmas candies or M&M’s. Those won’t last long with Fisher, so I’m waiting to fill it when he’s not looking. I got creative with a little glass dome I found at Hobby Lobby when it was half off by adding a small bunch of Christmas trees inside. You can change these out seasonally! Here are some options similar from Amazon.
I also added a cute little faux present that I wrapped in leopard print wrapping paper which brought out the pillows I have on the sofa. Most importantly, always have candles. I am passionate about this, you guys. The ambiance a candle can make can set the whole tone of the room!
I hope you love this post and all the ideas! There are so many different ways you can decorate a coffee table and the options are endless! Please share your ideas with me because I love all the inspiration and let me know if you have any questions as to where I got everything!
